Sweet Tweets - a New Way to Applique

Spend a morning at Lickety Stitch and learn a new type of applique:  free motion sketch applique.  Included in the class is the Sweet Tweets, Simple Stitches, Whimsical Birds book by Erin Cox.  We will use her methods to applique whimsical birds (or Scottie Dogs!) on the project of your choice.  A tea towel will be provided - but you can bring another fabric if you want to use your applique for  another project like a quilt or wall hanging.  This method of applique is whimsical and inexact.  The charm is that it appears the figures are sketched with thread - and it is quick and easy.
