Skill Building Session for Beginning Quilters
Learn to quilt with guidance from Jane Filener and Karen Wisseman at Lickety Stitch Quilts. This class will focus on the absolute basics of quilt making from choosing fabrics, cutting with a rotary cutter, sewing a quarter-inch seam, following a pattern, and finishing a basic table topper. If you are a beginner wanting to improve your skills, this class is for you. There is no prerequisite to this class - we will teach you to operate your sewing machine if you need help with that. This is the class for wanna-be and beginning quilters. Quilting is a learned skill and we will help you get started so that, with time, you can create any beautiful quilt you wish.
