Lickety Stitch has offered  Summer Mini Retreats in the past and they have become quite popular.  Our summer session is a scaled-down version of our Quilt Til You Wilt retreats.   6 full days of sewing, 8 a.m.  Monday through 5 p.m. Saturday.  New this year is that you can sew the clock around if all-night sewing is your thing! We will be offering a different class at each retreat which you can choose to participate in or not - sewing on your own projects is always an option.  There will be plenty of time to shop at Lickety Stitch Quilts.  Being in the presence of other dedicated quilters is always inspiring - and we feel we have the VERY BEST who come to our retreats!  Everyone has a great time, a lot of quilting gets done, and it is a great place to escape the normal day-to-day grind! Win door prizes and fun stuff!

Classes will be offered at no extra cost except for supplies for the project.  They will not take up all your time - so you can sew on your other projects also.

The class that will be offered in the June 24-29 session is Twining a rug with Susie Tadewald as the instructor.



The class offered in the August 19-24 session will be Strips and Strings Quilting with Jane Filener.

No meals are provided at these mini retreats so you may bring your own or eat out at local restaurants.  Snacks, Coffee, Iced Tea, and Water will be provided.

There are 5 local motels plus several VRBO options for places to stay. Jane Filener owns Prairie View Campground just 2 miles out of town with full-service hook ups if you want to bring your camper or tent.   If you need recommendations or phone numbers, please call us.

Cancellation policy:  Payment is required to reserve a seat.  Refunds will be made in the form of store credit up until 2 weeks prior to the retreat date. If the retreat cannot be held due to weather or other disaster, then full refund will be given.
