You cut, you sewed, you pieced, you trimmed,  you bordered, you quilted.  Now there is only one step left:  Binding!  For many quilters, this last step is the one they dread most.  In fact, some quilters have a STACK of quilts all ready to bind, and just can't make themselves take the plunge and finish those quilts!  If you are not confident about your binding skills, this class is for you!  Jane will take you through every step from sewing the binding pieces together, pressing them, applying them to your quilt, turning corners, connecting the ends, and finally sewing the binding down.  You will learn the double-fold technique that makes a sturdy and attractive finish to any quilt.  You may choose to either do the finishing step of sewing the binding down by hand or by machine.  In this day-long class you will have the opportunity to completely bind a quilt if you choose to finish by machine.  If you choose to finish tacking the binding down by hand, you will not finish but will have the skills to do so on your own. Space is limited so register today.  You will need to bring your sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, and a project finished to the point of needing binding.  Also you will  need to bring binding fabric cut into 2-1/2" strips.
