QuiltTil You Wilt Retreat scheduled October 26 - 28
We still have a few openings for our fall 2018 QTYW retreat coming up next week. It will be held at the Niobrara Senior Center, 611 E. 6th Street, Lusk, Wyoming. Doors will be open from 3 p.m - 9 p.m. on Friday, October 26; 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 27; and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 28. The fee of $79 includes 3 meals: Friday evening, Saturday noon and Sunday noon plus a swag bag of fun and valuable sewing goodies. Call for more information or reservations.

This is your chance to indulge in 3 days dedicated entirely to sewing, quilting, and crafting. Do you have UFOs that you would love to finish? Maybe a new idea for a project you want to start? Stop in at Lickety Stitch Quilts beforehand to get all the supplies you need. Pick up a new project, a kit, or the sashing and borders for those blocks you have in a stack in your sewing room! Attack those UFOs, especially the ones you need some advice or help with, as there will be experienced quilters there to advise you. We realize not everyone can stay all hours all 3 days, but come for whatever time you can. Enjoy the energy and camaraderie of our sewing community. Each paid participant will receive a fun swag bag of sewing goodies.

Join us for an hour of Edutainment Friday, October 26th at 7 p.m.
In conjunction with the Quilt Til You Wilt Retreat, we are planning a fun hour of demonstrations, trunk shows, snacks, music, and Show and Tell. Even if you can't make it to the retreat, join us at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 26 at the Niobrara Senior Center in Lusk. Michele Everts will be showing her beautiful paper pieced quilts and the project she will be teaching in the upcoming Judy Niemeyer class here at Lickety Stitch Quilts. Scrap quilts are Polly Swayne's specialty, and she will be showing a sampling of her quilts and giving us pointers how to make the best use of our scraps and stash. Jane Filener will be showing some easy-to-make gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season. As always, there will be demonstrations of new products and notions to make your sewing easier and more fun. Add delicious snacks and some music, this is an hour you don't want to miss! There is no charge for this special session and all are invited to attend.
