Hello Ladies, We are looking forward to seeing you all this weekend at our Spring 2020 Quilt 'Til You Wilt. Doors will open at the Niobrara Fair Building at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 13, closing at 9 p.m on Friday and Saturday, then finishing up at 5 p.m. Sunday. There are a few things we want to remind you of:
Bring your sewing machine, bobbins, necessary accessories, foot control and cord. It is a good idea to throw in an extension cord if you have one. Bring plenty of projects - or plan to pick up supplies for a new project at the shop. You may be amazed how much you can get done in 3 days of steady sewing! Remember your notions, cutters, rulers, rippers, pins, needles, thread....Please make sure all of your tools are marked so you can identify them. We will have several ironing boards and irons available for community use. If you have a favorite sewing chair you would like to bring, throw it in. If not, bring a cushion for the chairs at the fairgrounds - they can get pretty hard by the end of three days!
We will be providing lunch and supper on Friday and Saturday, lunch on Sunday, and goodies for snacks at other times. We will also have coffee, ice tea, hot water for tea, and bottled water available. If you have food sensitivities or require a special diet, you may bring your food and keep it in the refrigerator at the fair grounds. Feel free to bring a favorite dessert or snack to share.
We plan to sew until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and finish up at 5 p.m. on Sunday. We will open the doors earlier on Saturday and Sunday if anyone wants to come earlier than 9. Just let me know so I can unlock for you. Otherwise the doors will open at 9.
If you are sick, please stay home - we will refund your admission fee. Thank you for leaving your pets and children at home.
Fabric/Supplies Swap Friday Night, March 13, 7 p.m. we are planning a Special Event during the Quilt Til You Wilt retreat. For all our customers who can't make it to the retreat but would like to have some fun, we are planning this hour (maybe 2 hours?) for you to come join us to see some new ideas, show and tell, and product demos. Also we are inviting you all to bring any fabrics, sewing supplies, and UFOs that you no longer love and would like to trade for something new and exciting. We will put everything out on tables and ask that each guest bring something and take something - a fun trade of things you are tired of looking at for something new and exiting to you! Fabric in your stash you don't know why you bought? A project you started that has lost its charm? Spare blocks you never used and don't know what to do with? Back issues of magazines, patterns or books you want to get rid of? Bring some and take some - we think it will be a fun evening of trading. Also, if you have a show-and-tell project, bring it to share!
We look forward to seeing you soon! Karen and Jane
