Machine Service Clinic
We are working on scheduling Tracy Miller, The Sewing Machine Doctor, to come to Lickety Stitch Quilts soon for a machine service and repair clinic. We have not set an exact date yet but if you want your machine on the list, please call 307-334-9963 so we can call you with the date when it is confirmed. Basic servicing of a machine is $89, additional for parts and labor if repairs as needed.
Beginning Quilt Class in October
This class is for those who have very little or no experience quilting but would like to learn. The class will be 2 days and students will be making a 42" x 54" quilt top. The pattern is included in the class price and each student will have opportunity to choose and purchase their own fabrics. A sewing machine and basic sewing and cutting supplies will be needed. We will discuss this in the first day of class if you don't have these already.
Beginning Quilt Class October 22 and 29 (two-day class) 9a.m. to 4 p.m. Limited to 6 students. Beginners level. $60 includes pattern. Sign up on our website here.
Autumn Sew Days - A Place to Go, A Place to Sew
It is sad but true, we are not going to have a QTYW this fall. Instead we are planning some special "Autumn Sew Days - A Place to Go, A Place to Sew" Sign up for one or all of the 4 days which are September 1, September 15, October 6, and October 20. $20 per day. Bring your projects and sewing machine. Enjoy the camaraderie of other quilters, get those UFO's finished, start a new project, or make gifts for the holidays. We will have a different demo each day on a different gift idea you can make, and each session you will receive a free pattern for gift making. Also, Jane is planning to focus on the Roam Buffalo Pattern on October 6 as there have been some students wanting help with finishing their buffalo and others inquiring into starting the Roam Wall hanging. If you are interested in that project, be sure to schedule that sew day so that you can benefit from her help! Each day is limited to 6 attendees and they will fill up quickly - so click here and sign up!
Schedule your own private quilt retreat!
Our second plan for replacing the Quilt Til You Wilt retreat is for you to schedule your own private quilt retreat at the Lickety Stitch Quilts Classroom with up to 6 people in attendance. The price is $20 per day per person, minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 people. Call the shop for details and to check on dates that the classroom would be available. 307-334-9963
