Super Bowl Sale
I am not much of a football fan, but we use any excuse to have a sale around here!

This quilt folds into a pocket so it can be used as a quilt or a pillow. Great gift for any age!

How about a quick-to-make pillowcase in a heart print to remind them every night that you love them? Also we have a panel with cute sayings that could be used for making cards, little pillows, goodie bags, labels, bunting, mini book, coasters, potholders...
10% off Crystal Zipper Lanyards - Bejeweled zipper lanyards have arrived! 15" long with sparkling crystals along both sides, they make a fun gift for a friend or for yourself. If you want to add a little bling, here is a fun way to wear a nametag or ID.
10% off Beautiful Journey Quilt Kits and coordinating fabrics: Looking ahead to spring, it is not too early to be thinking of Mother's Day and Graduation gifts. We have kits for the Beautiful Journey Quilt that would be a treasured gift for any mother, sister, grandmother, or daughter. The panels and coordinating fabrics make wonderful pillows for smaller gifts if time doesn't allow for making the quilt.
GO! Accuquilt demonstrations throughout the day Saturday, February 4, as time allows. Cutting is a less favorite part of quilt making for many quilters. The Go! die cutter is fun, easy, and a super time saver. You won't believe the difference accurately cut pieces makes in your quilting as die-cuts fit together perfectly. They are also great for cutting applique shapes.
When you get ready to bind your quilt, do you hesitate to do it by machine because you really aren't sure what is the correct way to do it? Here is a great video(click here) that demonstrates the process. If you haven't done machine binding before or if you are a little rusty, I suggest making a small project - maybe a table runner or wall hanging - to try this out. She shows the folded-corner method and how to sew the beginning and end of your binding strip to make a hidden joint. If you click on the above link to watch the video, you will find several more informative videos of techniques and projects that you might enjoy making. Take time to explore the Riley Blake website and all they have to offer.
Avoid disappointment, get the fabric you love (and all you are going to need plus a little extra) when you see it! Most fabrics we carry are limited edition. Once they are gone we cannot get more. We will try to get them in again if you request, but most of the time they are not available. We suggest buying an extra half or yard - then making a pillow case to match your quilt if you end up with extra when you are all finished. A pillowcase to match makes a great gift bag for a quilt you are giving away.
Do you have a student graduating and going off to work or college soon? It is always challenging to know what to give them to commemorate such an accomplishment. A quilt specially made for them in their favorite colors or with fabrics reflecting their hobbys and things they love is a wonderful gift. We have patterns for quilt tops that can be made in a day, as well as more intricate ideas if you want to spend more time. We would be glad to help you make a plan, and you can come into the shop anytime for help with sewing.
Daydreams II pillow panels are back in stock and going quickly. The bright colors and large prints make them perfect for chenille techniques.

Among them are the Plume fabrics for the contest from Timeless Treasures, "Pickles" comic strip fabric, rodeo belt buckles, music notes, Eiffel Tower, bicycles, potato fabric for potato bags, some warm new flannels, and 108" wide backings.
