Sewing Days at Lickety Stitch
One customer admitted in a hushed voice last week that she is getting tired of her husband - and others in the shop were nodding and joining in with "I know what you mean!!" Are you just feeling a little cabin feverish and in need of some social sewing? As a solution to save marriages and quilters' sanity, we are going to open up our classroom for Sewing Days again starting next week. The first day will be Thursday, January 21. Please call to register at 307-334-9963. We will be adding days as needed so if that date does not work for you, call and we can find something that works. The cost is $20 for the day, 9-5, spaces are limited. Bring your machine, supplies, and projects and enjoy a full day of sewing and enjoying the company of other quilters!

Wouldn't we all love to remember the measurements and directions to create easy basic HSTs (half square triangles), Flying Geese, 8-at-a-time HSTs, No waste 4-at-time Flying Geese...all those basic units that are found in about every quilt? Art Gallery Fabrics generously shared instruction sheets for these basic quilt units that include directions, illustrations, and measurements for making the units in different sizes. They are posted on the LicketyStitchQuilts.com website under the Free Patterns tab. These are great resources to print out and have available in your quilting room for the next time you need to create any number of flying geese or HSTs for a project!
