September Sew Days and Add-On Classes
SEW ALL DAY WITHOUT INTERRUPTION! MEET NEW FRIENDS! ENJOY FELLOW QUILTERS! BE INSPIRED! FINISH THOSE UFOS! START NEW PROJECTS! TAKE CLASSES! LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES! IMPROVE YOUR QUILTING SKILLS!
September 20, 21 and 22 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we are offering the opportunity for Open Sewing Days. These will be at the Niobrara County Fair Building in Lusk, Wyoming. The building will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. these three days for attendees to come and sew up to 11 hours a day! No meals or snacks will be provided these three days. Admission for these days is $25 per day. You may choose to sign up for one or all - admission is separate for each day. These sewing days can be used for open sewing of your own projects, or you may add on the following classes.

Add-On Classes
The following classes are being offered as add-ons for those who attend the September Sew Days. You need to first sign up for the Sewing Days, then you can add on the classes if you wish.
English Paper Piecing
Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 9 a.m. - Noon
This is your opportunity to learn English Paper Piecing. Kathy Williams will be teaching this 3-hour class. Kathy has been doing EPP for many years. Her experience has been mostly with traditional hexagons, but she has branched out into some additional less traditional projects of late. Participants will be provided with a practice kit to make a small project during the class.
Attendees must sign up for the September Sew Day of September 21, 2021 first, then they can add the EPP class as an add-on from 9-12. The $15 fee will include the materials needed for the class. Click here and register by August 31
Sew Quick 3-Yard Quilt
Kathy Williams will be leading this class also on Tuesday, September 21 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The Sew Quick Quilt is fast and easy and the top could be finished in one afternoon. It is appropriate for the skill level of beginners and above. If you want some immediate gratification, make this 3-yd quilt! You will need to provide 1-yard cuts of each of 3 coordinating fabrics. Attendees need to sign up for the September Sew Day of September 21, 2021 first, then they can add the Sew Quick 3-Yard Quilt as an add-on from 1-4 p.m. The $15 fee for this add-on class will include the pattern for the quilt. Rapid Fire Hunters Star
This is your opportunity to learn the 180 Design method of making the Hunters Star. Jane Filener will be teaching this 3-hour class on September 22 from 9 a.m. - Noon.
Attendees need to sign up for the September Sew Day of September 22, 2021 first, then they can add this class as an add-on. The Rapid Fire Hunter Star ruler from 180 Designs, which includes the pattern, will be required plus fabric for the quilt. Both are available at Lickety Stitch Quilts. The class fee is $15. Crown Jewel Quilt using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star
Add-on-class to the September Sew Day of Wednesday, September 22.
This is your opportunity to learn to use the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler from 108 Designs by Deb Tucker. Jane Filener will be teaching this 3-hour class. Participants will need to purchase the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Ruler plus fabric and Crown Jewels pattern for the quilt. All are available at Lickety Stitch Quilts. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
Attendees need to sign up for the September Sew Day of September 22, 2021 first, then they can add this class as an add on from 1- 4 p.m. The class fee is $15. Click here to register by August 31.
Presently we don't have classes arranged for Monday, September 20, so it will be open-sew only. These sew days are being offered before the Quilt 'Til You Wilt Retreat to all that are signed up for the retreat later in the week (for which registration is now closed as we are full) as well as anyone else who would like to attend for any or all of these 3 days only. We do not have a mask requirement. This is a very spacious room so social distancing is not a problem. All who attend will be asked to sign a liability release stating you are accepting responsibility regarding illness and accidents. As always, all are encouraged to act as responsible citizens to stay home if you are not well or have been recently exposed to illness. We provide full refunds for anyone needing to cancel for any reasonable cause.
If you need lodging, there are 5 motels in Lusk. We do suggest that you make reservations as soon as possible.
