In-Store Specials All Week
Hundreds of bolts of select fabrics throughout the shop will be marked 25% off.
Over 250 bolts of Clearance Fabrics will be further marked down to $6.99 a yard.
Plus we are having daily specials, some of which can be taken advantage of by web site shoppers as well as those visiting our shop. If you are shopping on the web, you will need to put a note in the "comment" area of the item that is on sale saying "Super Summer Sale" so we can adjust the price, as it will not automatically adjust on your order.
Monday Only - Reg. priced Minky fabric and kits will be 20% off AVAILABLE ON THE WEB
Tuesday Only - Reg priced Wide Backs will be 20% off AVAILABLE ON THE WEB
Wednesday Only - Featherweight products will be 20% off AVAILABLE ON THE WEB
Wednesday, August 18, at 1 p.m. we are going to auction off a Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine on a Facebook Live Video. You can be present in the shop to bid or bid online - bids will be taken both ways. This is a machine that has been consigned to us, so there is a minimum bid required in order for the machine to sell. That amount will not be announced, but if the auction does not reach the minimum bid amount required, the machine will be no-saled.
Thursday Only - Select Kits will be 10-50% off

Here is a link to an Interesting article on threads and needle sizes.
A little excerpt from the article that I thought was very good to consider:
In addition to the size of needle, it’s important to note the difference between the point and eye shapes of needles:
- Microtex or Topstitch needles are sharp pointed needles
- Topstitching needles have a LONG eye to accommodate thicker threads
- Embroidery needles have a WIDER eye to accommodate decorative threads
- Denim/jeans needles are designed to penetrate very thick woven materials
